The FEEDs List-serve
Provides instant communication among gardeners, educators, garden supporters, local food advocates, and other community partners. This tool is intended to support various community growing projects by building a greater community and maximizing our resource-sharing capabilities.
Building community partnerhips
is the key to sustaining our garden-based projects and reaping the benefits of public work. Joining the list-serve means you are joining a network of hundreds of other gardeners and garden advocates across Wisconsin. The list-serve is an easy-access tool for sharing information and other resources, including seeds, plants, tools and equipment, or project programming.
Joining the list-serve also means that you will receive updates on Extension educational opportunities and other community events.
Topics that may be addressed on the list-serve include:
-
Needing advice or assistance in beginning a new garden or sustaining your garden project,
-
Marketing for the needs of your community garden project,
-
Announcing a garden event, a community-based project, or a new programming resource,
-
Sharing or requesting research-based information, stories, creative techniques, or successful experiments,
-
having an excess to swap or share, making good use of
potentially limited resources.
